Training, Travel, and Networking: We Have It All

We may be a new office, but one thing we know already is that travel will be a big part of the Global experience. In fact, we’ve already got an exciting trip scheduled.

“Very soon, select team members and I will be heading over to San Diego,” shared Global’ Director of Operations, Christopher. “We will get to network with other customer acquisition professionals. It will be a great bonding experience for us as well. Since we’re a relatively new team, we value every chance we get to develop deeper connections with one another.”

Networking is a big part of our training program, and we are always grateful for chances like the San Diego trip that let us put our skills to use. We’ve seen first-hand the power that well-connected people have when it comes to learning about and capitalizing on business opportunities, or in advancing their ideas.

However, we also know that when it comes to networking, it’s not about what we get. In fact, it’s more effective when we can add value to a relationship. When we meet a potential contact, our first thought is, “What can I do to help this person?” We listen attentively with this thought in mind, looking for ways to contribute to their success.

We’re excited about San Diego, where we’ll get to know one another better while also expanding our networks. To find out more about our networking strategies, like Global on Facebook.
